I bought the first ever issue of the recording industry magazine Sound on Sound when I was a teenager. Little did I know I’d be a contributor within a couple of decades.
I’ve written monthly articles for SOS since 2001. First of all it was tips and techniques for MOTU’s music production software Digital Performer. From 2010 to 2015 I did the same for Propellerheads’ Reason, and from 2012 to 2014 I took care of the monthly Apple Notes column, covering everything associated with Apple (computer hardware, OS X and iOS). Over the years I’ve also written more than 50 reviews of music software, hardware and instruments.
Sound on Sound is a bastion of the music technology industry, unswayed by manufacturer and advertiser pressure, honest and accurate. It’s an absolute pleasure to be associated with the magazine.
